The hotel
The inn is three wooden townhouses joined around a moss garden. Each room has tatami floors, a low table and futons laid out by our staff while you are at dinner.
We are on the Shirakawa canal in Gion, the old entertainment district. In the evening the lanes are lit by paper lanterns and you may see maiko on their way to work.
